Pakistan ‘Successfully Internationalised Kashmir Conflict’ Says IIOJK’s Omar Abdullah

In an exclusive interview, Abdullah noted, “Pakistan has indeed succeeded in internationalizing the Kashmir issue.”
“The Pahalgam incident has undone years’ worth of damage control in relation to both - the economy and diplomacy,” Abdullah highlighted while in conversation with an NDTV reporter.
In terms of recovery, this incident assisted Pakistan in once again bringing Kashmiri issues on the international stage.”
“And yet, when I say nothing has changed – the Pakistanis have, by intention at least, managed yet again to internationalize the issue of Jammu and Kashmir. The US which seems to be very much inclined to as trying to step in as a moderator or interlocutor,” he stated.
Pakistan in return has responded to Pahalgam noticing the incident with an explanation while lodging India a suggestion in partnering for a free and reliable investigation into the case, something India till this day has not managed to provide logical and substantial reasoning for.
